Gear can only be refined once, but at any point. Gear must be refined to unlock enchantments.
Refining gear will increase the max level of the respective gear, and will increase all stats by 10%.
Refinement cost:
- Crude: 10 Gems
- Common: 50 Gems
- Rare: 150 Gems
- Epic: 400 Gems
Refinement increases the max level as follows:
- Crude (2) --> Crude+ (3)
- Common (5) --> Common+ (7)
- Rare (10) --> Rare+ (13)
- Epic (15) --> Epic+ (19)
It is not possible to increase the rarity from (for example) Crude+ to Common.
